Whilst the MeeBox girls and I were brainstorming #RiRiMee, we have been obsessing on all things Rihanna to ensure the exact shades and brands selected for this month’s box by trawling through blogs, Pintrest, Instagram, old magazines and YouTube to pin point Rihanna’s exact style, ensuring we source the right products to create the perfect bad gal Riri look.

There have been so many elements of Rihanna that we have learnt and loved about the global superstar that we wanted to share them with you all – everything from music, fashion and most importantly, her nails.

First up is Rihanna’s tracks.  Where would our party scene be without them? Spanning over 10 years, there’s far too many to choose from but we have somehow, managed to pick our favourite Riri tunes. There’s no stopping these playing in your head for the rest of today…

1. Diamonds

Album: Unapologetic (2012)

This slow-paced power ballad helped Rihanna get her first No. 1 album. It really showcased her vocal performance and emotional connection in this song. We also found out that t it’s Rihanna’s personal favorite.

2. Pon de Replay

Album: Music of the Sun (2005)

Ahhh! This was baby Riri, when she burst onto our music scene in the summer of 2005.  Rihanna managed to capture a popular dancehall sound. It was clear from this track that a global super star was in the making.

3.  We Found Love

Album: Talk That Talk (2011)

If this was a game of Family Fortunes, and you had to name a Rihanna song, we reckon naming “We Found Love” would earn you the most amount of points.  This release took Rihanna to the next level of stardom.  Off course, Melina Matsoukas’ iconic music video played a major role in that process along with the electro-pop sound Calvin Harris’ created for Riri. What a lethal combination.

4. Umbrella

Album: Good Girl Gone Bad

Released in 2007, this was the first track from the Good Girl Gone Bad album, where we saw Rihanna’s image change from the island girl next door, to a global, sex symbol. This single also earned Rihanna and Jay-Z a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Song Collaboration.

5. Work

Album: Anti

One of Rihanna’s latest singles, from her album, Anti. The chrous repeats a lot but it rocks any party and there’s something quite fascinating about the tune…how hawt does Riri look in this video?

And if we had to sneak another two on this list, we would add The Only Girl in the World, B*** Better Have My Money and Man Down. There are just far too many to mention…
