Stop press! Sharmadean Reid and the WAH girls are back in it’s home, Dalston, East London.
WAH Nails, one of the UK’s ultimate go-to nail salon, initially launched in 2009. The salon not only offered dope manis but also hosted jumble sales, art shows and record launches, keeping true to what WAH was originally about (which originally started as a fanzine dedicated to girls influenced by hip-hop culture).
Since launching WAH Nails, Sharmadean has gone on to open a salon at Topshop’s flagship store in Oxford Street, launched a pop-up nail art boutique at Shoreditch Boxpark, published books on nail art and sells WAH Nails products in Boots. Sharmadean has more or less, single-handedly changed the nail game in London town…we highly recommend treating yourself, by paying a little visit to London’s nail art mecca. We’re excited to see how the new venture develops…
Check out the ‘half and half’ fresh mani we got at the launch (which was served with a glass of refreshing white wine!)
Prices start from £25. To pay WAH Nails a visit, head down to 494 Kingsland Rd, London E8 4AE
